Press release from Albuquerque Public Schools: August 30, 2021 The contest is open to all Albuquerque Public Schools students in Elementary, Middle, and High School. First, second, and third place winners will be awarded in each division: Elementary, Middle and High School. Elementary school: maximum of one page (one side) typed or hand-written, double-spaced. Middle school: maximum of 500 words typed or hand-written, double-spaced, and 12 pt. font. High School: maximum of 1,000 words typed, double-spaced, and 12 pt. font. Answering the questions posed: 50 points Clarity and effectiveness in expressing the theme: 30 points Grammar, spelling, and composition: 20 points Entries will be accepted until September 24th, 2021 at 5 p.m. mountain time. Please send essay (including the cover sheet linked below) to the Office of Equity and Engagement via email at [email protected]. Please submit as Microsoft Word or PDF attachment.
