Caretaker/Handyman - Part Time Job Overview Supervise the care and maintenance of a 220-acre private hunting and fishing retreat. Responsibilities and Duties • Manage year-round deer supplemental feeding program • Maintain and clear trails and roads. • Manage game cameras. • Manage green fields • Mow grass and operate weed trimmer in the summer. • Maintain shooting houses and tree stands. • Provide preventative maintenance and keep records for all mechanical equipment o Change fluids, filters, etc. • Other duties as assigned Qualifications • Hardworking, flexible, trustworthy and reliable. • Ability to listen carefully and follow instructions. • Possess basic mechanical skills • Willing to work outdoors in hot and cold weather. • Ability to safely operate a chain saw and other farm equipment • Valid AL driver’s license with good driving record and clean background check. • Provide a clean drug screen and good work references • Must reside within 30 miles of Ragland, AL (35131) Hours • Part time – 15 hours/week minimum – some flexibility • Hours may be on weekends.
