SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests: On Aug. 24 at 3:14 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22-year-old male, Fatah Iarkane of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Iarkane was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 7 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody. On Aug. 25 at 12:41 a.m., officers from the Jersey City Police Department responded to the Secaucus Police Department headquarters to transfer custody of a 28-year-old male, Deonte Borders of Bayonne, NJ for two outstanding warrants in the amount of $500. Border was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody. On Aug. 25 at 2:12 p.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle accident in the parking lot of 40 Wood Avenue. During the investigation, the police arrested a 33-year-old male, Elan Poricki of Wayne, NJ for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office with no bail. Officers from the Atlantic County Sheriff's Office responded to the Secaucus Police Department headquarters and took custody of Mr. Poricki for transport to their authority. On Aug. 27 at 7:41 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 52-year-old male, Joseph Brown of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Hudson County Sheriff's Office with no bail. Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff's Office responded to the Secaucus Police Department Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Brown for transport to their authority. On Aug. 27 at 9:10 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of 400 Rt. 3 West on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 52-year-old male, Siddharth Mukherjee of Rutherford, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Middlesex County Sheriff's Office with no bail. Mukherjee was also charged with Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing the police with false information. The Middlesex County Sheriff's Office did release Mukherjee on his own recognizance pending a future court date in relation to the outstanding warrant. Mukherjee was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody. On Aug. 29 at 5:33 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old male, Angel Soto-Lopez of Jersey City, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Belmar, NJ in the amount of $150. The Belmar Police Department did release Soto-Lopez on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody. On Aug. 29 at 7:00 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of Rt. 3 East and Harmon Meadow Boulevard on a report of a motor vehicle accident. During the investigation, the police arrested a 35-year-old male, Lathan Cenord of Bayonne, NJ for one outstanding warrant issued out of Bayonne, NJ in the amount of $250 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $100. Cenord was able to post bail for the involved warrants and was released from police custody. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
