CROFTON, MD — A ribbon-cutting ceremony and community open house will be held Monday at 4 p.m. at Crofton High School to celebrate the new school. The event is one of five being held as the school year begins for Anne Arundel County Public Schools. The school district has spent almost $303.5 million in construction projects in the past two years. AACPS Superintendent George Arlotto will be joined at the events by board of education members and elected officials who represent the areas in which the schools are located.
