Press release from the City of Sioux Falls: August 28, 2021 Beginning on Monday, August 30, 2021, Pearl Street from Sherman Avenue to Wayland Avenue will be closed to traffic, and Wayland Avenue from Fourth Street to Pearl Street will be closed to traffic to allow crews to begin work on Phase 2 of the Highland Addition Improvement project. The work includes improvements to the sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and watermain, as well as new curb and gutter, asphalt surfacing, and accessible curb ramps. This work is expected to be complete in approximately two months, weather permitting.
