Press release from the Woonsocket Police Department: August 30, 2021 - 1:23pm Effective September 1, 2021, the Woonsocket Police Department shall resume VIN verifications for city residents only.  VIN verifications shall be performed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 am till 1 pm only.  The $10 city resident fee is by check or money order only, no cash.  No appointment is necessary.
