WESTERN SPRINGS, IL — Western Springs police released their latest blotter Monday. Here is information from the reports: Domestic battery Nicholas A. Zehner, 42, of Western Springs, was arrested about 6 a.m. Tuesday in the 4200 block of Howard Avenue on a charge of domestic battery. He was taken to the Cook County Jail in Bridgeview. Theft A man reported that two people he had invited to his house Tuesday in the 5300 block of Johnson Avenue took $50 to $80 from his hands and ran away. Driving violations Arturo Alcarac, 47, of Des Plaines, was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday at Plainfield and Wolf roads on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage. He was released on bond. Flag theft A college flag was reported stolen Tuesday from a porch in the 5000 block of Central Avenue. Stolen bicycle A resident in the 4900 block of Gilbert Avenue told police Wednesday that her son's bicycle was stolen while it was unlocked in a bike rack at Lyons Township High School. It was valued at more than $700. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt.
