JOLIET, IL — Whether you are heading to the Rialto Square Theatre for Tuesday night's Illinois Rock N Roll Hall of Fame induction, September's Reels at the Rialto showing of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, or one of the many upcoming fall events, you must wear a face mask or covering. "The Rialto Square Theatre holds the health and safety of our patrons as our top priority," Rialto officials announced over the weekend. "In accordance with the latest update from the State of Illinois masks will be required inside the theatre for all patrons." The Rialto's announcement drew lots of reaction to its Facebook page over the weekend. "I'm tired of face diapers. Guess I'll pass on shows at the Rialto," a man named Charlie posted. "I am hoping we can get refunds," wrote Malise. "Are the people on stage gonna be required to wear masks also? If not why? They are indoors as well," Mike asked. "Looking forward to attending the return of Reels at the Rialto. The lineup looks great," wrote Katie. "Well that makes my decision on buying tickets easier," replied Aimee. "Thank you for looking out for everyone's safety. Just ignore the whiny sniveling anti-maskers. They're not important," Brian commented.
