Description

Press release from Arizona State University: August 27, 2021 Joanne Cacciatore is an ASU School of Social Work associate professor whose work focuses on traumatic grief. After the death of her daughter 27 years ago, Cacciatore found herself bereft of good social support, and the experience pushed her to begin the study of grief, trauma and social support, which today focuses primarily on her work at the Selah Carefarm outside Sedona, Arizona. The vegan farm is a place where grieving individuals and families can come together for emotional and social support, and it is the only farm of its kind in the state of Arizona.
