Description
You're obviously misinformed. Haven't you listened to all of the speeches from the White House, the Pentagon, and the State Department? The airlift was a major success and the largest in history. They continue to cite all of those that were evacuated.
One hundred and ten years ago, they had another great success... the largest lifeboat evacuation to date. They evacuated 750 people from the HMS Titanic. If you only look at those that made it, and the total that made it, then it's an equal success.
I'm not so sure that those that didn't make it onto the C-17s in Kabul or the lifeboats in the Atlantic would agree that it was a success. Nice spin though.
