View full job description and APPLY at. Specific Responsibilities and Duties: Installation of products: Knowledge of most office furniture lines and manufacturers. Ability to comprehend blueprints and floorplans. Supervises a field crew of up to 40. Effectively utilize equipment, tools, and labor. Follows procedures for all installs and moves. Full support for staging, de-trashing, final clean-ups, stair carries, etc. Leadership: Can successfully work on their own with little to no supervision. Can effectively manage a crew on a short term basis. Can lead deliveries and small installs. Enforces company policies and procedures. Participates in project walkthroughs with Project Manager. Reports installation Issues with Project Manager and Installation Manager. Insures that Installation quality and standards are being met on assigned projects. Ensures furniture is installed to customer's and manufacturer's Specifications. Train inexperienced installers. Reports installation Issues to Project Manager, and Installation Manager. Administration: Completes required paperwork on time and accurately. Records time in the system promptly and accurately. Regularly checks for electronic communications (email, systems, etc.; may use mobile devices or kiosk computers). Ability to comprehend and redline any/all Installation Drawing. Teamwork: Follows instructions (both written and verbal). Shares knowledge with other team members and contractors. Can help PM overflow/ Site Checks, Field measures, Participates in project walkthroughs with Project Manager. Works with PM in determining labor and Equipment requirements. Attend and take an active part in all Lead Meetings. Communication: Can communicate with both internal and external customers. Communicates with the customer regarding the status of the project. Customer Experience: Follows guidelines for professional behavior on customer sites. Observes contractor behavior and informs team lead of concerns. Reliability: Arrives on time and ready to go (to the location assigned). Arrives with a toolbox with required tools. Follows procedures for calling in sick, scheduling PTO, etc. Operation of Company Vehicles: Able to drive all assigned vehicles in the fleet. Properly loads and unloads vehicles. Follows all vehicle laws and safety. Maintains cleanliness of assigned vehicles. Complete daily pre-trip inspections. Safety: Completes all safety tests and certifications. Follows all safety instructions/procedures explicitly Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to read small print - Must be able to read a tape measure Able to use hand and/or power tools, Knowledge of Systems Furniture Ability to communicate with customers Proven track record of successfully leading others; Ability to understand and carry out directions both written and verbal; Variable Work Schedule- must be able to work evenings, and weekends as needed; The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds and sit, stand, kneel and walk up flights of stairs for extended lengths of time; Ability to pass background check and drug test for "illegal" drugs Must possess a WA drivers license and reliable transportation Must be able to show proof of vaccination or beginning the process of vaccination Education/Experience: A High School diploma or GED required
