"Draft Surveyor" works on barges on the Ohio River at multiple locations (Louisville & Ghent, KY). Works with other surveyors to cover work that is 24/7/365 in all weather. Mostly days; some nights. Measures barges in numerous ways and takes cell phone photos to transmit to office. Training offered. River experience very helpful; must lift 75 lbs which is approximate weight of a barge manhole cover; must read tape measure and do simple math; must communicate with towboats, office and other surveyors regularly and follow river terminal and company policies for safety equipment and protocols. Position requires a reliable, mature person who is good with people. Must have reliable transportation.
