Two Cats for Adoption - Inseparable brother and sister

Description
Hello everyone, I’m Kyle Richardson and I was advised to post on here by some friends who live in the area because I am trying to find a nice home for my two cats that I unfortunately cannot house anymore. My friends said this is a great community, and to post here to see if there is any interest…I really hope so! My living situation has recently changed and unfortunately I cannot keep my two babies any longer. There is five-year-old Simba who is a male and 3 year-old Belle who is female. I adopted them both from the Yolo County Animal Services shelter and have had Simba since he was 1, and Belle since she was a kitten. Although they are not brother and sister by birth, you would never guess this because these two cats absolutely love and need each other. They are best friends and spend a lot of time together. With my new living situation, I have roommates who are pretty allergic to cats and I simply cannot keep them. The shelters that I have spoken to have said it would be best to try to find a home for them myself, because if they go to a shelter, there is no guarantee they will be able to be kept together, and that honestly breaks my heart. They are polar opposite in their personalities, but what they both share is that they absolutely love each other, as well as owners who take care of them. They are both very affectionate and love to be petted. Simba is more of a “traditional cat” and enjoys his attention, as well as his alone time when he feels like it. Belle is the complete opposite. If you allow it, she will sit on your lap all day and just cuddle and want you to pet her. Simba had a rough life before I adopted him, so it does take him a little longer to feel comfortable, but once he does, he is the sweetest and calmest cat I have ever had. Belle has no idea what stranger danger is, and will want to cuddle and sit with anybody who is willing to give her attention. My goal is to do everything possible to keep these two babies together. They have grown up with each other, and I constantly come home to them laying together in their bed or giving each other baths. I just can’t imagine splitting them up, so I am seeing if there are any families who are looking to maybe add two new, calm, and loving members to their household. They are both spayed and neutered, vaccinated, and litter box trained. They are comfortable both outside and inside. I primarily keep them inside, but when they do go out, they love to sit in the backyard and sunbath. They also get along well with children and dogs. They have been around both small and large dogs, and I have never had an issue with them. Of course they need to be introduced and get comfortable, but I have had any incident with them not getting along with either children or dogs. I attached some photos so you can see how much these two really love each other. If you are interested or would like to know more about them, please reach out to me! Again, I am doing my best to keep these two babies together, because it’s truly what they deserve. Thanks for your time, and have a great rest of the week!
