ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Sprinkler Apprentices are responsible for assisting foreman and fitters in the installation of fire protection systems. • Distribute the piping and accessories from the truck to the designated material lay down area. • Keeping each lay down area organized and stocked with each item required. • Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain applicable state licensing. • Clean-up job site vehicle and tools • Travel as required, and must have reliable transportation. Qualifications • Experience in pipefitting or sprinkler fitting • High school diploma or equivalent • Have a valid driver’s license with good driving record • Demonstrate strong customer service orientation. • Strong organization skills, positive attitude, and ability to quickly learn. • Ability to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures at all times. • Have reliable transportation • At least 18 years of age • Must be able to work at heights and lift at least 50 lbs.
