ISO a small breed puppy to add to our family

Looking for a small breed puppy to give a good home. We are a family of 5 myself, my husband who is 100% disabled veteran, 3 children 10,14 and 16 and a 3 1/2 year old lab mix rescue. Would like puppy to be 6 months to 1 year and good with other dog and children. Also not looking to pay an arm and a leg just to give a puppy a good loving home where it would be treated as a family member
