Description

In search of a person in the western mass/ hilltown area (preferably between ages of 21-40) capable of driving a wheelchair accessible van once to maybe twice per week. Hours are part-time as needed or on call between the hours of 3-11. Needs a current driver’s license and safe driving habits. Van is provided. Will be responsible for driving a man with a spinal cord injury in a power wheelchair, as well as his caregiver out into the community for quality of life activities. As he will have caregiver assistance, this person will be responsible only for driving to and from the location. Advance notice will be provided for scheduling the rides, as well as an estimation on time needed for the trip. Starting at $15.00/hour, which includes the wait time in between.
