Make your own schedule, earn supplemental income, AND make a difference in your community! ITNLehighValley, a nonprofit organization, is hiring part-time drivers to transport seniors to and from medical appointments, grocery stores, and pharmacies. The ideal driver has a minimum of three days of availability each week and will work between 6-15 hours per week, but how much or how little you drive is up to you! Full days are not required. Drivers MUST be comfortable driving throughout the entire Lehigh Valley. Perfect for college students, retirees, parents, or anyone looking for supplemental income. Very flexible with time off and special scheduling considerations (i.e. children in school, working around another job, child custody, etc.) Current drivers say they enjoy the freedom to schedule an exercise class in the morning and drive in the afternoon, or schedule driving around other jobs, errands and commitments. **Drivers use their own vehicle and receive a mileage stipend** CURRENTLY SEEKING DRIVERS FOR THE FOLLOWING: - Daytime (some early mornings and evenings available) - Week Days - Weekends (limited) REQUIREMENTS: - Clean and reliable vehicle - Valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and insurance - Clean driving record - Three years minimum driving experience preferred QUALIFICATIONS: - Punctual and able to carefully follow ride schedules - Comfortable and familiar with Lehigh Valley roads - Kind and compassionate when working with seniors - Safe and careful driver - Reliable and willing to communicate with dispatch Base hourly rate of $10/hour + mileage stipend. Weekends and before/after hours rides $11/hour. Biweekly pay. Mileage reimbursed monthly.
