is currently seeking qualified applicants for a full-time in our Surface Water Engineering Group in our Denver, CO office. Master's degree in Hydrology/Hydraulics preferred. Current PE license in good standing Strong organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills A passion for detailed work, ability to problem solve, supervision of staff and work, as well as the ability to mentor and train less experienced engineers. Must have demonstrated experience as an effective team member. Demonstrated mastery of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software, including CUHP, SWMM, HEC-RAS and HEC-HMS. Familiarity with UDFCD/Mile High Flood District processes and USDCM. Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD Civil3D. Responsibilities: Preparing models and design plans, reports and other project-related documents Acting as a design engineer on projects Managing time to keep within budget constraints, working with clients, preparing bid documents, and preparing quantity estimates. Reviewing work products and deliverables prepared by other staff and providing comments and direction. The position will be involved in the preparation of proposals along with providing assistance in marketing efforts including occasional attendance at local and regional conferences.
