For over 20 years, Pine Hill Trailer has served the needs of haulers through custom and stock trailer designs. We started with a special focus on the shed hauling industry but have grown to provide trailer and truck bed solutions for many different industries and consumers. Our Machinist Will… • Make components and parts in small batches for custom trailers • Receive training on a variety of equipment (Bridgeport Mill, Kingston Lathe, Davis Hansford key seater and welding) • Set up, operate and maintain equipment • Join a small 2 person department • Oversee multiple machines operating at the same time • Work 40-50 hours depending on the work load. The majority of those hours would be from Monday through Friday between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm Our Ideal Machinist… • Experienced: Previous experience operating equipment. Very mechanically inclined. • Safety Focused: Cares about the safe and proper use of tools and equipment. Takes responsibility to ensure equipment is in good working order. • Active: Able to be on your feet, lift up to 75 lbs, reach, bend, pull and operate equipment. • Quality Focused: Understands the importance of paying attention to details so that our customers receive a high quality, ruggedly built trailer that will serve them well. • Systematic: Able to follow processes to ensure consistent, high-quality products. No cutting corners. • Efficient: Take on a Lean Manufacturing mindset of continuous improvement and efficiency. • Dependable: Comes to work on time. Steady approach to work.
