There was a post yesterday, Sunday August 29, regarding Maltese puppies for a reasonable rehoming fee. I have been searching for a second dog with reasonable fees for quite some time. I contacted the poster and they responded this morning. All was going well until they said they were in CA; I'm in NC. The puppy was free and could be shipped if I would pay shipping costs. I have been a victim of a previous scam similar to this. So please be warned. I think it's sad when someone feels they have the right to scam someone simply because they are willing to give an animal a good home and without paying three arms and a leg in rehoming fees.
