SUMMARY : Property Management company is looking for an experienced, skilled, motivated, and organized individual to join our maintenance department to service commercial buildings, residential homes, and grounds maintenance. What you have already achieved: (Requirements) Experience in plumbing repair Experience with HVAC Experience with electrical repairs Experience in appliance repair Ability to troubleshoot problems Advanced ability in plaster/ drywall repair Ability to paint well Know how to replace locks and windows Experience with carpentry repairs Experience in making apartments ready for new tenants in old and new buildings Have a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and own a reliable vehicle to use for everyday work assignments big enough to transport a water heater if necessary. Possess own basic tools and ladders and vehicle to transport tools and materials Live within a 40 minute drive of East Stroudsburg, PA What you will achieve at DLP: (Responsibilities) Responding to resident maintenance requests and service requests as dictated by Supervisor. Provide outstanding customer service to residents and clients Support and encourage fellow employees, while receiving the same Take initiative to see problems and act with solutions Perform inspections Identify hazardous property conditions and report to Supervisor. Look for needed maintenance or liability hazards and repair/report to supervisor or manager while focusing on positive solutions Apply touch-up paint as needed to apartment and area outside entrances. Clean out all trash from before, during and after make-ready. Perform maintenance or replacement of property including painting, electrical, plumbing, drywall, cabinetry, appliance repairs, window screening, door replacement etc. Maintain grounds and keep communities free of trash and debris of all kinds Respond to periodic emergency calls Build positive, long lasting relationships with residents, vendors, co-workers and Supervisors ** To apply, please send resume
