GRABBER Construction Products, Inc. is an international distributor and manufacturer of premium fasteners and fastening systems for wood, metal and drywall applications in the commercial and residential construction markets. GRABBER also distributes a wide range of proprietary tools, accessories, equipment, and building materials to the construction industry. We have an immediate opening for a hard-working, full-time, customer focused delivery driver/sales support role for our Atlanta, GA location. This building products delivery position is an excellent opportunity for a go-getter interested in a career, not just a job. Candidates must possess an exceptional attitude, be capable of problem solving, and be a team-player. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to see a task through to completion are a must. POSITION SUMMARY: Delivers building materials to businesses and contrstructions sites throughout the metro Atlanta area. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Pulls and prepares orders for delivery from a computer generated pick slip. • Loads orders on a flatbed delivery truck and ensures that load is properly balanced and secured. • Delivers and unloads product at customer warehouse or jobsite. • Keeps appropriate DOT records and monitors general vehicle condition. • Assists in warehouse shipping and receiving, will call orders, and customer service as needed. • Helps with stocking warehouse and keep work areas neat and clean. • Participates in monthly inventory counts. • Performs similar work duties as assigned. SKILL, KNOWLEDGE AND, EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 1. Ability to read, write, and speak English well. Fluency in Spanish is a plus. 2. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. A CDL is NOT required for this position. 3. Basic math skills and the ability to lift and carry 75 lbs. 4. Competence on a forklift. Certification preferred, but not required.
