We service the event industry by providing technology services and equipment to enable live and virtual events nationwide. We do 10,000+ events a year with the majority right now in the virtual space. Description: We have a need for a temporary Quality Control Technician to help us from now through October. We’re looking for someone that is hard-working, detail-oriented and motivated to help us during our busiest season. This person will cover our 9am - 5pm shift although shifts could change over time. Hourly rate is $19.23/hour. The Meeting Tomorrow Quality Control Technician is responsible for maintaining quality control standards to all technology equipment as a part of the inbound process. The role requires receiving and thoroughly testing all new and returning technology equipment, and sustaining Meeting Tomorrow's quality control standards. The role also requires unpacking, counting, and sorting of equipment and accessories to aid in the fulfillment of orders. This role requires a candidate with strong focus to detail and a desire for continuous improvement and quality. Key Responsibilities: -Receive and perform quality control procedures on all new and returning technology or AV equipment -Wrap, count, sort and pack various cables and accessories -Keep record of equipment defect and failure rate data -Be able to pivot over a diverse product line with high accuracy -Work with inventory team to unpack, count, and sort equipment and accessories -Work with imaging team to make sure they have the useable inventory they need -Perform troubleshooting and repair of equipment -Build out and expand on quality control practices Skills & Experience: -Previous experience working with laptop/iOS devices is preferred -Previous experience working with AV equipment is preferred -Ability to multi-task over a large product line required -Proven record of success in quality control preferred -Able to lift 50 lbs What we offer: -Health insurance benefits -401(k) program with matching up to 4% -Free catered lunch once a month Anything else?
