Fast growing company is looking for Shipping Assistants to join our team. Shipping Assistant needed to work in logistics departments and complete duties such as assisting the shipping staff, maintaining shipping materials, documenting shipping parcels, packing product, solving shipping issues, and implementing best practices in shipping processes. They should be self-motivated, a team player and proactive in terms of taking the initiative to perform tasks as required. They should be trustworthy, reliable, time conscious and keen on details. They should also adapt well to different environments because the position requires interaction with different kinds of people. A shipping assistant needs to be accurate in the provision of information. They should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. They should have the ability to accurately sort, count and verify items packed or received. Good organizational and communication skills, written and oral. Attention to detail. Work as a team member. Physical Requirements: Must be able to traverse the shipping area and access a variety of storage spaces and shelving units by stretching, squatting, and reaching.
