25 year experienced drum teacher with a background in rock, jazz, funk, rudiments and heavy metal hard rock and punk. Veteran of many local musical entities / bands and experienced recording in studios locally and nationally. Offering lessons to students from beginners day one to intermediate or even advanced players looking to polish up on some of their licks and tricks. I will travel to you within the Northern Kentucky and Central Cincinnati areas. Plenty of great references. Great with kids and great with teens or adults. I am a methodical and very communicative person who has patience, professionalism and enthusiasm for the art of percussion and teaching drums. *Practicing with a metronome *Sight-reading *Learning songs *Health, wellness and flexibility for drummers *Working with school band instructors. Other services I offer include helping a new student to pick out a drum kit and proper symbol selection, the right kind of sticks for the student, introduction to percussion instruments such as Congo Bongo timbale and other hand drums, can also consult with students on any live performances and give feedback.
