I am a 50 y/o Bass player that has been playing for a long, long time. Looking for a comfortable, quality band that would like to play shows a couple times a month. I don't mind weekly practice and I do my homework. I play Just about all types of music. Been around the DFW music scene since the 80's. I have been in original, top 40, cover and tribute bands. I am an aggressive finger-style player. I love country, rockabilly, R and B and rock. Have tons of gear and LOTS of stage experience. Not looking to chase the "get signed" dream. I am looking to play shows and not sit around in some practice room. Money is not as important as the venues and crowd sizes. Bigger the better... Not trying to tour either, I have a real job. Put simply, I don't need (or want) the grief that most bands have to offer. I am not interested in a band trying to sell me on what they have going. If it's a decent project, I will know quickly. I realize I may sound like a jerk but I don't want to waste my, or your time. I love to laugh and have fun but that has to be rooted in a good band.
