Some of you guys might have a better chance at meeting women and keeping their attention if you went back to second grade and paid attention rather than finding out how many boogers you could stick under your desk.
Example 1. “I seen you at …”. It should be “I saw you at…”
Example 2. “Myself and Joe went …” or “Me and Joe went…” or “Joe and myself went…” or “Joe and me went…” are all incorrect on several counts.
When you and another person are mentioned, you are always mentioned last, not first.
It should be “Joe and I went”. If in doubt, take the other person out of the sentence. Does it make sense to say “Me went…”? No! “Myself went?” No! You say “I went…” Now add Joe back into the sentence. Joe is going also. This changes it to “Joe and I went…”
So the next time you see someone and are so hard up you post on craigslist like a stalker, you will at least not be snickered at for your Jefferson County grammar.
