Rehoming 1 1/2 year old red doberman female. She is not a family dog..she plays too rough. She chases cats. She has been through training and works well with shock collar but off collar she doesn't mind very well. She needs a place with large yard. No other pets especially cats. I have three other dogs she is fine with older dogs, but fights with husky. She is very protective of her property and people. I believe what she does is part of what is bred into her to protect at all cost her family. I am in my 60's and find I can't handle her like she needs. She sleeps with me and is in the house most of the time. She doesn't destroy the house and she is very much house broken, never any accidents. She rings a door bell when she wants out back. She eats well, very healthy..I make most of her food. She is up to date on all vaccines. I love this dog..but I think she needs more property to run on. Lots of energy! I am will to re-home at $300.00..lot less then what I paid for her and have invested in her training..Please only contact if you think you have the proper property and household for her. She gets along real well with my 5 year old grandson, but my more timid 8 year old grandson she wants to chase. She has never bitten anyone, but not sure if she wouldn't if she felt threatened.
