Volunteer. Mingle. Brunch. Volunteer with fun like minded people in Sandtown- Winchester steps away from The Black Arts District - the focus of the Harbor the the Heights Neighborhood Tour. We will smile, laugh, give back by being in service to the community and meet new people who love Baltimore as much as we do. After we will celebrate our hard work at brunch. What's involved: Meet: 9:00am Hours : 9:30am -11:11 am Activities : Community farming Requirements: Participants should be able to outside for 2 hours. Tools needed: None. Our host, Our Community Garden - Sandtown, will provide the tools we need. Dress: Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. COVID precaution: Masks are required when indoors. Where You'll Find Us: Meet us at tOur Community Garden at 9:00am. After: ...of course brunch! We have room for 10. About the Our Community Garden: Our Community Garden is part of Elev8 Baltimore. The program launched in 2009 and provides out-of-school time opportunities, school-based health services, resources, support and outreach for the families they serve.
