Description
I'm 25! He/him pronouns, I moved to Portland a year ago, I play rhythm guitar in a tribute band, but I've been itchin to be part of a collaborative project where everyone brings in ideas for original songs
I really want to make a point in creating an environment that is inclusive and welcoming to people from lgbtq & bipoc communities, as well as anyone else who has felt othered or excluded before. Bonus points if ur latinx, having moved here from NM and seeing a sudden lack of representation is a change to say the least lol
I'm leaning towards the punk end of things, been listening to a lot of classic pop-punk from blink-182 (Dude Ranch - untitled) and Green Day (debut up to Nimrod), but another part of me wants to do something more post-punk and dancy. Either way the music has to be fun, and we need to have fun doing it or else what's the point?
Logistic talk:
I don't have a place to practice yet
I work full time 9-5 but am available weekends and most weeknights
I'm looking for a bassist and drummer mostly but open to other possibilities
I'm no virtuoso and you don't have to be either, if this sounds at all like yr kind of thing hmu!
