Join professional storyteller Priscilla Howe in a fun (and participatory) session on strengthening our connections and our communities in the best way possible--through our stories. Priscilla Howe, a recipient of the National Storytelling Network International Story Bridge Award, has been a full-time storyteller since 1993, after five years as a storytelling librarian. She tells personal stories, folktales, and literary tales to listeners of all ages. Howe’s program Grimm for Grownups is listed on the Humanities Kansas Speakers Bureau, and her collection of folktales gathered on a 2015 Fulbright Scholarship to Bulgaria will be published in 2021 by Parkhurst Brothers Publishers. A native New Englander, Howe has performed in fourteen countries but makes her home here in Lawrence, KS. She is also looking for the best restaurant pie on earth. Registration is required for this workshop. There are a limited number of seats available, please register only if you plan on attending.
