Description

Delicious takeout dinners delivered to you curbside by historically costumed volunteers from the Overfield Tavern Museum The Overfield Tavern Museum is pleased to partner again this year with Bakehouse Bread's Bryan Begg to offer the community a delicious, casual dining opportunity that reflects the times in which we're currently living. The tavern will be offering takeout dinners that will put you in the mood for fall and cooler weather. Each dinner will include a Duroc pork chop and sides (additional details will be shared soon). In addition, diners will have the option to purchase a 32-ounce Overfield Tavern mini-growler (empty or filled with locally sourced apple cider). And don't forget to order your Overfield Tavern T-shirt to show your fondness for Troy's original gathering place! (These T-shirts are super soft, and we recommend that you order your T-shirt one size larger than you would generally order.) Meals will be delivered to your vehicle curbside at the Overfield Tavern Museum by volunteers in historic costume. Come on out for a fun fall dining experience designed to keep you safe. Unable to take part in this year's fundraiser? You can still purchase tickets and donate the meals to the St. Patrick's Soup Kitchen. Since 1966, the Overfield Tavern Museum has been dedicated to raising awareness of local frontier life during the first quarter of the 19th century. A rare example of Federal architecuture in west-central Ohio built in 1803 and 1808, the nonprofit museum houses authentic early 19th-century furniture, tableware and utensils. In addition to safekeeping the collections of early Troy families, the board strives to use them to give local residents an authentic sense of pioneer life in Troy.
