Join the Indiana Women's Affordable Housing Network in Indy on September 15th Join the Indiana Women’s Affordable Housing Network in creating Welcome Home baskets for women preparing to start a new chapter with Dove Recovery House and Seeds of Hope. Indiana WAHN is a networking group created to advance cooperation and deal opportunities in affordable housing around the state of Indiana. The Welcome Home baskets will serve as a jumping off point for the women graduating from Dove Recovery House and Seeds of Hope programs. They will be given fresh towels and bed linens, dishes, pots and pans, hygiene products and more to have a fresh start in recovery. Come to the wonderful Bottleworks Hotel at 2 pm for a tour of the hotel and the Garage Food Hall. Then at 4 pm we will start packing up the donated items in the Samuelson Room at the hotel. Questions: Please reach out to Julia Kaercher at [email protected] Dove Recovery House is the largest recovery housing program for women in Marion County and is certified as a Level IV Recovery Residence through Indiana Alliance for Recovery Residences. Dove House serves 40 women each night and more than 80 women annually. In 2020, 70.5% of clients successfully completed the Dove House program or were on track to complete in 2021. At Dove House, we serve the most vulnerable women in our community—women who have experienced physical, emotional, and sexual abuse; women who have experienced homelessness; women who are struggling with substance use disorder and have nowhere else to turn. Seeds of Hope is located on the near-Westside of Indianapolis, IN, offers a unique addiction recovery program for women over the age of 18. Seeds of Hope is not just a “house” they live in; it is a “home” that offers a loving, family-like environment in which our ladies can begin to build new sober and responsible lives for themselves. We provide our residents with an environment that inspires change through a dynamic support system. We offer a safe, clean, secure environment in which they are surrounded with caring individuals who have “been there” and are a testament to the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle.
