Words & Art: The Stories They Tell Poets and writers are invited to participate in reading your writings, poems or short stories. Masks will be required to be worn except when you are speaking at the microphone.OCAG Open Mic Night featuring Poet Emari DiGiorgio Poets and writers are invited to participate in reading your writings, poems or short stories. Each person will have 2 minutes in order to give as many people as possible an opportunity. Gallery Viewing of the Photography Show from 6:30-7:00 PM1st hour is Open Mic (2 min. max per person) (7:00-8:00 PM)15 Minute breakFeatured Reader Emari and they will share for 20-30 minutes followed by Q&AEmari will also come up with a Take-Home Writing Prompt for the attendeesEmari DiGiorgio is the author of Girl Torpedo, winner of the Numinous Orison, Luminous Origin Literary Award, and The Things a Body Might Become. Her poetry has received numerous awards, including the Auburn Witness Poetry Prize, RHINO's Founder's™ Prize and a poetry fellowship from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts. Currently, Emari is Director of Murphy Writing at Stockton University, where she teaches first-year writing and poetry and serves as President of the Stockton Federation of Teachers.
