Turn that heirloom teacup into a functional treasure! In this workshop, learn how to upcycle tea cups and mugs into one-of-a-kind pin cushions. All materials provided, including unique vintage tea cups! The first 15 minutes of the class will include fabric selection with time to shop the ACR shelves. This workshop is appropriate for ages 10 and up. Minors must be accompanied by a ticketed adult. Artist Bio: Lani Gonzales My crafts are rooted in the concept of creative reuse and inspired by the most important women in my life: my mother and my daughters. I enjoy transforming fabric scraps from my mother's quilting projects into vibrant and fun accessories and decor, including hair clips, magnets, and pin cushions. Our mission is to promote conservation and reuse in our community through creativity, education and community building.  One of our core values is that Communities are powerful : It’s more fun to play together and collaborate with the experts in our area to conserve vital resources.
