Talk it Out is a Black conversation series where we talk about the thoughts, feelings, and emotions that society pretends doesn't exist. Navigating Social Awkwardness In this segment of Talk it Out, we'll have an open conversation about how we all handle being social and social awkwardness. We'll talk about our struggles, our tactics to feel comfortable, and name the changes we'd like to see in social settings. This is a Gold Beams event presented in partnership with Oakstop Alliance This space is for us to have dope conversations and connections about honest and fun topics that are happening. We'll talk about things we're curious about and get to hear perspectives from our peers. There will be 🍷 Additional Details: We'll be taking pics so look cute if you'd like to take part. Once you enter the Oakstop14 location you'll make your way to the Beckford suite. 274 14th St, Oakland, CA 94612 The Gold Beams brand curates beautifully eclectic events, experiences, programming, and productions for Black creatives and our Black community at large. Our signature event, Second Mondays, is a home for an array of Black art and ethereal communion. Through Gold Beams, you get to be privy to a world of one-of-a-kind moments, events, performances, and so much more! Second Mondays is a creative hub + open mic for Black artists. Though many of the artist bring their spoken word pieces, we highlight all forms of art. This includes musicians, visual performances, comedians, storytellers, graphic designers-whatever. We also curate panels, parties, galleries, kick-back sessions, talk sessions, workshops, and more! We're building a family of Black creatives ;).
