Program Details: (10 athletes max.) 50 Minutes - Sprint technique training 40 Minutes - Hitting, two cages side by side, 5 players per cage // Chase records video and reviews swings with each player. 20 Minutes - Mental game // As a ballplayers we must realize that we can't control what happens around us, but we can control our response to it. In an intimate classroom setting, d'Arnaud will share a story from his professional baseball journey that alludes to a time when he needed to focus on his mental game to overcome the pressures he was putting on himself to succeed. **Notebooks will be gifted to each athlete to be used for baseball journals. d'Arnaud and many other MLB players use baseball journals to define goals, track progress, and reflect. ----------- Why work on your speed? - Increases overall value as a player, both offensively and defensively - Speed never slumps. It is a tool that you will always be able to rely on. - Boosts overall athleticism - Crosses over to other sports Sprinting is one of the most powerful activities a person is capable of. It forces the athlete to recruit and produce contractile velocities in the “athletic muscles” (hip and knee extensors) at speeds and eccentric loads that would be nearly impossible to achieve with any other training activity. This has great potential to improve athleticism across a broad spectrum of other movements and intensities. In high school and college, Chase ran the 60 yard dash in 7.0 - 7.2 seconds. After working on his technique for 3 months before his 3rd year at Pepperdine with Trainer, Woody Cliffords, he became a consistent 6.4 second 60 yard dash sprinter. Chase took those lessons and started refining them throughout his 12 years in professional baseball. ------------ Chase is not just a speed coach, he is also a mentor who will be a resource for all of the baseball players and families that he meets through his speed training program. Countless athletes do not achieve their goals due to lack of mental fortitude, accountability, and misguidance. He is a strong believer that mindset works as a foundation for your experiences in this world.
