Older Electric Guitarist looking for players for a Latin Jazz project/band, playing tunes from the Latin Real Book, etc. I particularly enjoy Sambas, Guarachas, Mambos, Bossa Novas. Some favs are Airto, Gilberto Gil, Azymuth, Milton Nascimento, Mongo Santamaria, Tania Maria, Joao Gilberto, Primarily interested in bass, drums, sax, keys; possibly vocals, conga, timbales. Looking for intermediate level players, like me. I usually get lots of replies from other guitarists, sorry but just need one for this project. Prefer easy going personalities who have a sense of humor plus have their personal situations together. Age, sex, nationality etc.. not important, just not into reefer, wasting time, politics, or drama etc. I am just into music. I suppose there may be gigs eventually, but for now making fun music is my goal. Since I am older, I’d appreciate if you’ve had your shots, but I’m not going to card you. Thanks for reading my ad.
