Good Sunday morning Connecticut, The National Weather Service has already issued a hazardous weather outlook for the impact remnants of Hurricane Ida may have on Connecticut from late Tuesday through Thursday morning. "A period of moderate to heavy rain is possible during this timeframe. However, there is still uncertainty as to exactly where and when the heaviest of the rain will fall. Here are the top stories trending across Connecticut, Sunday 1. CROMWELL - Crash (Tractor Trailer) on I-91 Southbound between Exits 21 and 20. The left lane is closed. Reported Sunday, August 29 at 5:31 am. WFSB 3 TV reports that the tractor trailer actually left the highway and fell onto a local read. (Read more here at WFSB 3). 2. State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident that occurred at 5:36 p.m. Saturday in the area of Interstate 691 Westbound, West of the Exit 5 Entrance ramp in Meriden. The victim was identified as Jonathan Santiago, 37, of Bristol. 3. Police in Rocky Hill say they are investigating a carjacking robbery in the parking lot of Mozzicato Bakery that occurred just before 4 p.m. Saturday. Up to five suspects approached a woman sitting inside a car and one of them pulled her from the car, and then three suspects took off in her car, according to WTNH News 8 reports. A 21-year-old man was shot and killed in Bridgeport on Saturday, according to police. The shooting, which led to a car accident, is under investigation. (Read more at NBC CT). 6. In Stamford firefighters battled a house fire in the area of Reynolds Avenue and Austin Avenue on Saturday. The fire involved the deck area and was spreading quickly up the rear of the home and into the attic space, fire officials said. Firefighters said they were hampered by several inoperable fire hydrants and low water pressure in the neighborhood. The fire was under control within 30 minutes. One firefighter was injured. 7.
