I recently had one of the guys from our construction crew move over to our painting division so I need to bring someone in to help out. What we do: Construction of all types. From decks to basement finishes to remodels to new builds, pretty much every phase is touched along the way. Who I'm looking for: More than anything, someone who is willing to learn! I'm not looking for a crew foreman, we already have a good one. However, I do need someone who is willing to listen and work hard. You don't have to know everything, that's fine. Basic skills would be nice - know how to use a tape measure, a hammer, a level, rudimentary skills. I want someone who wants to learn, wants a chance to advance and someone who is proud of the work they do. We stand behind our work and have a good reputation so solid work ethic is important. Who we are: We are a construction firm that is growing. While none of us are related, we are family. That's how we treat each other, that's how we treat our customers, that's who we are. We need someone who likes to laugh, likes to have fun at work and can understand that working and playing are not all that far apart. Pay will start at $18 per hour and if you're solid and are a good fit, we'll bump you up. None of us are rich so we're not going to be paying you $30+ an hour when none of us make that, but we'll try to pay as much as we can. In addition, lunch is provided many days, we're easy to get along with and as we grow, we'll all get paid more.
