Ask your teen, “Have you learned today’s lessons?” Filling in a worksheet is not enough practice to cause learning. Doing the assigned math problems may or may not be enough. If you stop now, will you remember in a week? Practice until you could get an A if there were a test tomorrow. That’s going to take a little extra time tonight but save even more time on future assignments. It also feels better.
