I’m still looking to rehome my 4 year old male rabbit. His name is Lou (nicknamed Lulu) and he is a Flemish Giant/Mini Rex mixed breed. Times have been tough and unfortunately we aren’t able to keep him anymore. I’ve had him since was 8 weeks old - he is 4 1/2 years old now, he loves to chew on toys, and he is a very spoiled boy. I definitely want him to continue to be spoiled and loved for however many years he has left. Currently he has his own room with a big cage that we leave open so he can come and go as he pleases - I’m looking for an (indoor only) home with space for him and someone who understands that he is an active rabbit and needs to stretch his legs outside of his cage. He is mostly mellow (he likes to lounge around) but randomly he’ll have a burst of energy and bounce around the room. He loves carpet but hates hardwood floors because he slides around. He can be a bit of a grouch when he feels like his space is threatened (he is an unfixed male) but he is really a big sweetheart and if you sit with him and pet him he will just flop over and fall asleep next to you. I would prefer a home with no other rabbits, dogs, or small children as he might be aggressive towards them. We do have cats and he gets along with them just fine. I’m asking a rehoming fee of $50 (negotiable to the right home) which will include his big cage, food, hay, waterer, and any other toys/supplies that I have for him and obviously I would like you to meet him so we can be sure it’s a good fit. I care about him so so much, I just want to make sure he finds the best new home. Serious inquiries only please.
