Emergency "Dog and Puppy" Fosters Needed

PLEASE VOLUNTEER TO BE A FOSTER Many young healthy dogs and puppies are being scheduled to be euthanized weekly due to lack of space in Riverside especially, despite efforts of rescue partners and shelters working together. Animal Shelters have been flooded with strays and abandoned dogs due to owner deaths, financial hardship, evictions, medical needs, and removal from abusive and neglectful owners especially since the start of COVID. There are not enough volunteer fosters to place these dogs and puppies which is resulting in shelters uethanizing those that have been there the longest to make room for the new ones received daily. In Early August 18 dogs were euthanized in one day. Roughly 2 weeks later, (Last Friday) 40 dogs were scheduled to be euthanized, due to amazing efforts together 39 of 40 received commitments for adoption or foster. This is just a glance of a day in their world. Watching whats happening on social media, I see there is a dire need to locate emergency placement for these dogs until someone can get these "at risk" dogs and puppies adopted. Please volunteer to foster or adopt a dog or puppy. Thank you.
