Description: We are a non-euthanizing, non-profit animal sanctuary in Vancouver specializing in special needs and geriatric cats. This is a part-time position -- 12-20 hours a week Compensation: starting $14.00/Hr Responsibilities: Applicant will be assisting in daily animal care. Providing food, water and sanitation services. Medication administration (training provided). General cleaning. Requirements: Applicant must be able to multi-task and work efficiently. General knowledge of animal care is helpful. Must be able to follow instructions and pay attention to detail. The ability to work independently is critical to this position. Must have a love of animals and a desire to make our programs a success. Must be able to show proof of vaccinations for COVID-19 and follow all health and safety protocols. Must have excellent attendance, have reliable transportation and be punctual. Must have strong verbal and writing skills and possess strong organization and time management skills. Demonstrate a willingness to learn and ask questions. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and physically able to navigate stairs and outdoor inclined trails.
