Hi! We are a fun family of six that needs help ASAP! Our ideal candidate will fit most of the requirements below. This position consists of a 5/6/7 day week or longer if you desire since we provide live-in accommodations. Some weekend traveling to the Florida or out east may be asked if needed. We are looking for a highly professional housekeeper who is extremely organized, efficient and detail oriented with a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor. Must be able to work independently and accurately. Must be immaculate and knows how to keep a home guest ready at all times. Must be child and animal friendly (one trained small dog). Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To • All aspects of general housekeeping and cleaning of entire residence to high standards. • Make beds daily and change towels and linens as desired. • Laundry duties as needed including ironing, organization, steaming, dry cleaning, etc. • To ensure the house is ready and inviting for the guests when they arrive. • Working with the family on all the food shopping and preparing food for the family and occasionally friends on weekends. • To have a very high standard of cleaning: Clean and maintain the interior to a high standard. Know what to do without being shown or asked. • Ensure the linen, curtains, blinds, and fabrics are kept clean and laundered. - Experience with dealing with laundry, delicate fabrics, hand washing. • Ability to cook healthy and wholesome meals daily and prepare school lunches and snacks for children • Able to put together menus, using seasonal ingredients and cook for gluten free family with many dietary restrictions. • To be responsible for the preparation, serving, clearing away after family meals. • To be responsible for the daily upkeep of our home • Additional Housekeeper duties as needed and requested. Requirements • Time management skills. • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to responsibilities. • Proficiency in English. • solid years of related experience working as a housekeeper or ability to work in loving home • Excellent references required from current and previous employers but would consider raw talent also • Ability to work with high-quality items (art, clothing, furniture). • Flexible, organized, and able to manage time and exceed expectations. • Thorough knowledge of deep household cleaning, laundry, ironing, and storage organization. • Legally able to work in the United States for any employer and travel if needed within USA • Drivers license and proficient with the English language. Must be comfortable driving children to after school activities and night plans with their friends coming along on occasion. Overall a second head of household “mom/dad” that respects our home as their own is desired. If you are going to ask what your hours are this position is not for you. We want an addition to our family that helps as needed and can get the tasks done without us asking. You may come and go as you please (take time for yourself) as long as tasks as house is neat and food is prepped. Private accommodations, bathroom and laundry are all provided for you.
