Indoor Acres Farm is seeking independent sales contractors to spread the word about our amazing nutrient dense drink mixed! You will be working farmer's markets, holiday & vendor shows in the Columbus, OH area and surrounding central Ohio venues (Dayton, Xenia, Akron, Cincinnati). Our ideal candidate is self-driven, motivated, and hard-working. Perfect for college students, stay at home parents and culinary aficionados! Think of this role as a brand ambassador! Saturdays weekly with occasional Thursday, Friday and Sunday events; 4-6-hour shifts. COMPENSATION Markets are usually 4 hours shifts + set up and break down times. Get paid a MINIMUM of $15/hour but more based on how well you sell. Earn up to $180 (or $45/hour) based on how many sales you drive! Earn $50 for each market + 7% of gross receipts for the market that you attend. Earn up to $180 for only 4 hours! If sales are low and $50 + 7% falls below $90 then you will earn $90 ($15/hour) as your base. Responsibilities Greet customers and make them feel invited to engage and shop Answer any questions the customers may have Assist Customers in making product selection Clean work area as needed to maintain a tidy work environment Respond to all complaints in a friendly and professional manner Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all available products Differentiate between products, helping customers compare and contrast flavors, textures, parings, etc. Make helpful suggestions that will be useful to the customer Handle all transactions with accuracy Make every effort to ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience Train/operate food service equipment (beverage dispenser, etc.) Qualifications Friendly attitude at all times - even when dealing with disgruntled customers Responsible and proven ability to maintain scheduling commitments Ability to problem solve quickly concerns customers may have Good communication skills with customers 0-1 years of retail experience desired Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive and friendly attitude Reliable and punctual Able to run the cash register (touch screen) Commitment to accuracy during all transactions Able to memorize product line features and specifications Able to engage in dialogue with strangers, helping them make informed decisions Must be honest, trustworthy, and hardworking Availability on weekends and some weekdays Sales aptitude Must have or be able to get a food handlers certificate Ability to lift 25-50 lbs; moving product, tables & tents· Weather tolerant : ) Reliable transportation (Trucks and SUVs are a plus but not required) This role is perfect for say-at-home parents or students looking for a flexible schedule!
