Replace motor with a gas motor. Electrics cannot carry enough power. CANNOT. I'm an electrical engineer. Yes, electrics can have great acceleration when the battery is fresh and new but that's all. If cars were limited to 25-75 hp (gas) that would be our best solution until about probably 30 years down the road. Then we may be able to carry the equivalent power of 1/2 tank of gas in a battery. Now we only carry the equivalent of maybe 2-3 gallons. All batteries now go bad very very quickly. All you do is see your electric go slower and slower with less range every day. It's depressing watching your 5 thousand dollar battery die quickly while you drive slowly.
