Someone finally caught this stray for me. He has a broken front paw but it's healed stiff already, so it would require surgery...OR just an understanding home where he can stay inside and not have little kids unaware of how to avoid pulling on it. See pictures. I was checking it out and he bit me. I've been rubbing it gently just to get him used to it and he hasn't since then. But I'm sure it hurts if someone tries to bend it. He can get up on my bed, but by climbing with his claws, not jumping. He's very loving. He's mellow around other cats but I couldn't get my cats to be friends yet. I was starting to call him Gimpy or Lovebug. He is going outside the litter box. I put him in it and he acted cornered. I think he feels trapped in it. He might just need a really wide box with low sides in a dog crate. I'm taking him to Sumner Spay Neuter Alliance, so it'll be $25 plus whatever extra they do, such as other shots besides rabies. I can't afford to take him to my regular vet for a checkup. What I spend is what you'll pay for him if I don't have to go very far for his new home.
