I have got six 3-month old purple peachicks available for new homes. These are high-quality, hen-raised birds who have been free-ranged periodically and trained to follow directions from a herding staff. They will take treats from my hands, and should adapt to do the same with you given time and patience. I have included photos of the available chicks, their parents, and some of their kids from previous years. Their father was a purple pied split white eye and split blackshoulder (BS), and their potential mothers were a purple blackshoulder silver pied, and two purple blackshoulder split pied hens. All of the babies are at least split pied, possibly split white or dark pied (two copies of the pied gene instead of one), but it is impossible for anyone to tell which are which without testing against a white (we call this "split leucistic" since we know they have at least 1 leucisitc gene, just not which one it is). The normal wing babies are for sure split blackshoulder as well. Please be aware that I will not rehome these birds to someone that isn't prepared for them and as such I will require photos of the pens and will be asking questions about care. I have put a lot of love into these guys, and I want them to succeed in their new homes just as much as I don't want you to waste money by losing them to something I could have helped prevent by asking a few questions.
