Description
How our kids feel about themselves is one of the biggest influences both on happiness and on what they will create in their lives. Positive Self Esteem isn't something kids either have or don't have - saying yes to feeling good about themselves, even when things aren't going their way, is a Skill they can develop. Children’s Wisdom Skills Workshop : Who-I-Am School, is based on the Adventures in Wisdom curriculum. This program is especially good for boys and girls ages 7-13 years old, and all kids are welcome. To reach as many children as possible, and safely for everyone, meetings are held by Zoom this school year on Sunday Afternoons from 1:30pm – 2:45pm for the main Skill Lessons, with Review and Practice on Wednesdays from 5:30pm – 6:15pm, to give our kids the best advantage for the school week. Because Sunday afternoon is a time when our kids are often looking for ‘something to do’, it was chosen as the best opportunity to empower them for the school week, and by receiving a Wednesday mid-week reinforcement the relatable skill stories remain fresh in their minds, making practice easy to keep going. The 27 Adventures in Wisdom skill lessons are divided into 5 powerful topic areas dealing with the mind, self empowerment, defining values, realizing vision and setting goals, and how to face “dragons” by understanding energy and courage. Topics include: What is Self Esteem? How Your Mind Shapes Your World Honoring Your Uniqueness How Thoughts Create Neural Pathways The Importance of Self Talk How to Power Shift Negative Thinking and much, much more. These are skills even most adults don't know. Children’s Wisdom Skills Workshop is presented by Prof. L. C. Morin, D.D., MAEd., Certified Mentor for Master Adventurers by Adventures In Wisdom. The Adventures in Wisdom curriculum contains 27 Skill Lessons all children can receive because Powerful Self Esteem fuels Inner Strength for Successful Lives. :-) Wisdom Hoot Owl’s Inside Adventure Magic -- “Who-I-Am” School, where we learn Adventures in Wisdom from relatable life stories featuring good advice from Wyatt the Wise Wizard.
